Evan Schow was selected as the recipient of the 2024 Kevin Child Scholarship (KCS). He is a pre-med freshman studying microbiology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He has worked as a counselor at Camp Valor Hemophilia Camp, participated in a dynamic elective biomedical program at his high school, and even joined his father on a surgical mission to El Salvador to help children with cleft lips and palates. Evan’s goal is to attend medical school with an eye towards becoming a medical doctor and an advocate for patients and families.
