Renee joined the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation Venture Fund, Pathway to Cures, in December 2022, spearheading fundraising and communication initiatives to support equity investments in companies developing cures, technologies, and therapies for inheritable blood and bleeding disorders. With 30 years of experience in non-profit work, Renee has excelled in professional fundraising for esteemed institutions such as Providence Health System, Ascension St. John Foundation, Spectrum Health’s Foundation (formerly Oakwood Foundation), Detroit PAL, Henry Ford Health, as well as contributing to medical research at Henry Ford Health and the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.
Renee holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western Michigan University and a Master’s in Community Medicine and Healthcare Administration from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Her commitment to community service is evident through her extensive volunteer work with numerous non-profits throughout Metro Detroit.
Based in Detroit, Michigan, Renee finds joy in spending quality time with her family and friends. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast, indulging in activities such as hiking, paddleboarding, kayaking, and traveling.
