Many people with bleeding disorders, as well as caregivers, report that bleeding disorders impact their work life and job choices. This webcast explores ways that people with bleeding disorders and caregivers can work with employers to successfully manage both health and job responsibilities. Topics include disclosing and explaining a bleeding disorder to employers and colleagues, providing practical suggestions for job accommodations, handling questions and reactions from colleagues, how and when to take medical leave or family medical leave, preventing and dealing with discrimination, and strategies to improve quality of life within work situations.
