Celebrate World Hemophilia Day: Raise Awareness and Empower Lives
Join us on April 17th as we come together to celebrate World Hemophilia Day! This global event is dedicated to raising awareness about hemophilia and other bleeding disorders, supporting individuals and families affected by these conditions, and advocating for improved access to care.
The theme this year created by the World Federation of Hemophilia is "Equitable Access for All." The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH)'s vision of Treatment for All is "for a world where all people with inherited disorders have access to care, regardless of their type of bleeding disorder, gender, age, or where they live."
World Hemophilia Day is an opportunity for our community to learn more about hemophilia and related disorders, share personal stories and experiences, and connect with others who understand the challenges and triumphs of living with these conditions. Whether you are a patient, caregiver, healthcare professional, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, this is a chance to come together and show your support.
How You Can Celebrate:
- Share your story and tag us in it @NBDF: Your story is powerful and needs to be heard. People want to hear how you're connected to the bleeding disorders community. Personal stories create connections among individuals and families living and thriving with hemophilia.
