On October 16, hundreds of people from across the country tuned in to this year's virtual Red Tie Soiree: REUNITED, presented by Sanofi Genzyme. The event celebrated the achievements of the inheritable blood disorders community. The event centered NHF’s renewed mission and focus on research while celebrating the strength of the community. Guests interacted virtually with old friends and new while raising funds critical to driving forward the next decade of NHF’s work
Because of the generous support of our community, we raised over $200,000 to fund transformative plans for the people we serve. This includes an ambitious, patient-centered research agenda that will shape the next decade of this community.
The evening featured voices from the inheritable blood disorders community and special appearances from actress Alex Borstein and recording artist Trevor Martin. Although apart, we had the opportunity to check in with the watch parties happening from coast to coast.
' Support from our generous partners—Sanofi Genzyme, CVS Specialty, CSL Behring, Artia Solutions, First Republic Bank, Hemophilia of Georgia, June for Joint Health and Tremeau Pharmaceuticals—helped make this event a tremendous success. Thank you!
“The community’s energy during the Soiree could be felt no matter where you were watching from,” said Dr. Len Valentino. “Despite numerous pandemic-related setbacks, each of you demonstrates a desire to come together to empower others. I’m so impressed by the generosity that allows us to move forward with our national research agenda.”
NHF is grateful to the community for helping us surpass our goal and is looking forward to all that we will continue to accomplish together.
