NABP is an independent organization that provides support for state boards of pharmacy to create, implement and enforce regulatory guidelines to ensure that pharmacies and pharmacists are properly informed and educated about current standards of care. This article recognizes the need for pharmacies to adhere to a uniform set of standards to ensure that patients have access to these specialized providers. NHF has been working with NABP to educate the group about MASAC #188 and the need for pharmacies that serve people with bleeding disorders to maintain high standards. It is the first step in what NHF hopes will be model language for more states to develop standards of service. To learn more about NABP, click here.
