The Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society (HTRS) has recently announced two award opportunities for physicians (MDs) or doctors of osteopathic medicine (DO).
HTRS will be offering Mentored Research Awards in 2017 to fellows or junior attending/junior faculty pursuing clinical or basic science research in hemostasis and/or thrombosis. Candidates must hold an MD or DO, and be within seven years of completing their fellowship. Pre-proposals for this award opportunity are due Wednesday, June 15, 2016. HTRS and the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network (ATHN) are offering the Dataset Research Engagement and ATHN Mentorship (“DREAM”) Award to fellows or junior attending/junior faculty residing in the US to work with ATHN-affiliated, US-based hemophilia treatment centers (HTCs) to conduct research using the national ATHN dataset under the guidance of experienced mentors. Candidates must hold an MD or DO, and be within seven years of completing their fellowship. Pre-proposals are due Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
