The Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society’s Mentored Research Award Program (HTRS MRA) provides financial support for qualified fellows or junior attending/junior faculty pursuing clinical, translational, or basic science research in hemostasis and/or thrombosis under the guidance of an experienced mentor. Research projects funded by the 2019 HTRS MRA Program will run for two years, from July 2019 through June 2021.
Please encourage fellows and junior attending/junior faculty to apply for this award and forward this to individuals who may be interested.
The Request for Proposals outlines the eligibility requirements and submission guidelines for the 2019 HTRS MRA Program. The Application Form is required as part of the submission.
The deadline for Pre-proposals for the HTRS 2019 Mentored Research Award (MRA) Program has been extended to Friday, September 7, 2018.
The reason the deadline has been extended is that HTRS seeks a balance between hemostasis and thrombosis applications.
Although HTRS will accept any type of application until the new deadline, we especially encourage additional hemostasis pre-proposals with a focus on congenital hemophilia or von Willebrand disease, in order to achieve a better balance between hemostasis and thrombosis applications.
