The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) is proud to share its latest work on health equity, diversity, and inclusion, published in Health Equity (Vol. 9, No. 1). This research highlights the barriers individuals with inheritable blood and bleeding disorders face in accessing equitable healthcare. It outlines a strategic framework to address these challenges.

Through extensive community consultation and collaboration with regional and national partners, our authors developed a comprehensive framework to dismantle health equity barriers. This approach empowers individuals, organizations, and institutions with the tools, resources, and leadership needed to drive change.

Why This Matters:
Identifies key social determinants impacting health equity.
Provides a roadmap for advocacy and systemic change.
Offers a blueprint that can be adapted by all disease states, rare disease and otherwise.
