The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) is pleased to announce that Daryl Ann Keller and Alison Stace-Naughton are the 2008 winners of the Project Red Flag Academic Scholarships for Women with Bleeding Disorders. The scholarships are given to women with a bleeding disorder--hemophilia, von Willebrand disease or another clotting factor deficiency--or who are a carriers, pursuing post high school education. Each award is $2,500.
Keller, 19, is attending Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, VT. She plans to major in biology, following a pre-med track, and minor in English. She is from Greenfield, NY. Stace-Naughton, 19, of Madison, WI, attends Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. She plans to obtain a degree in engineering.
