The Red Tie Soiree, NHF's annual fundraising gala, draws hundreds of guests together to celebrate the achievements of the bleeding disorders community while raising critical funds. Though the format changed, this year's Soiree was full of excitement and more community engagement than ever before. Support from our Visionary Sponsors—BioMarin, Genentech, Sanofi Genzyme, Pfizer and Takeda— helped make the transition from an in-person to virtual event seamless and successful.
On September 25, more than 300 people from across the country tuned in to this year's virtual Red Tie Soiree. The event featured families from the bleeding disorders community and special appearances by actress Alex Borstein and NY Rangers coach David Quinn, as well as musical performances by Epic recording artist John K. and community member Trevor Martin.
Support for the bleeding disorders community poured in. Guests of the Soiree made a remarkable impact on the community by donating more than $100,0000 for bleeding disorders research.
“This community's ability to pull together always inspires me,” said Brett Spitale, Vice President of Advancement at NHF. “Every single Soiree donor and guest invested in the future of the community.”
NHF is grateful to the community for adapting to a virtual Soiree and is looking forward to all that we will continue to accomplish together.
